Few Words About Trust

Samarpan Basu Memorial Trust is a registered voluntary organization for children. It is not a big one but still trying best to work for the welfare of children since 2008.

Our Mission: To improve the lives of less fortunate children and generate healthy atmosphere in the society.

Our Activities:

Health check-up The trust conducts health camp. Very soon facility of free health check-up in the chambers of some specialised doctors will be provided to the children. Every year trust gives financial support to few critical patients.

Distribution of awards/scholarships Samarpan Basu Merit Award is given to the meritorious students from financially weak families in Madhyamik and the poor students who are consistently performing well in their studies. Samarpan Basu Award is given to the students who secure highest marks in I.S.C. Pure Science and English. Samarpan Basu Humanity Award is given to the students for their noticeable humanitarian activities. Samarpan Basu Award for Creative Talent is given to exceptionally talented students who have state/national level performance record in different fields other than academic.

Seminars Stress is a great problem in our life. More or less each one of us including children are the victim. Trust arrange seminar on stress, environment, humanity & moral values.

Relief/Grants/Aids Trust distributes gift, food etc. to the children on its foundation day and on some special days throughout the year. Trust gives financial support to needy students for education.

Trust gave prizes to the winners of sit & draw competition organised by Govt of WB on 15th August at Tathyakendra.

Trust distributes Clothes to the street children on Durga Puja.

Trust distributes Winter wear & toys.

Trust distributes School stationery to the students.

Trust distributes Sweets and Snacks to the children on Childrens day.

Trust celebrates Independence Day and Christmas Day with the children.

Trust also helps the children affected by Natural Calamities.

Our Vision: Health & Education is the prime right of every child. Bring awareness to the children about fundamental principles of human life, which helps to build  them healthy and ideal human being.

Students despite scoring brilliantly in 10th or 12th standard exam cannot proceed further due to financial crisis. Trust try to provide financial assistance to the students from financially weaker families to pursue their studies.

Trust have a plan to start a charitable clinic, a library and many more activities in future.

Our effort to continue all these projects along with new activities need support, co-operation and help from all corners. 

Person/s interested to serve the deprived children is/are always welcome.
